Project Coordinate

Projecting a coordinate is an option available when creating a new waypoint. The option appears at the bottom of the Add Waypoint screen. This tool uses the currently entered waypoint coordinates as the starting point for the projection. For example, to project from your current location, tap the Current Location preset and then open the projection tool.

Projection

  • Direction in degrees
  • Distance
  • Unit
    • Change the units to the correct measurement for your projection
    • Choose between Meters, Kilometers, Feet and Miles

Results

This will show the resulting calculated coordinates. Tap Done to use the projected coordinates for the waypoint.

Scratch Pad

This field is used as a scratch pad for copying and pasting directions and distances. This text is temporary and will not be saved.
