Waypoints

The Waypoints screen shows you information about additional locations related to the currently selected cache. In the title area you can flip between Cache and User waypoints.

Tapping the ... next to a waypoint provides the following options:

  • Duplicate
    • This is useful when you want to slightly change the coordinates of an existing waypoint.
  • Translate with Google
  • Copy Waypoint Text

Cache Waypoints

Cache waypoints are those defined by the cache owner as part of the cache listing. They may include things like Parking, Trailhead, or the visible stages of a multi-cache.

User Waypoints

User waypoints are those created by you. The most common reason to create one is to enter the Corrected Coordinates of a solved mystery cache or the next stage of a multi when not directly provided by the cache owner. Some owners have placed coordinates in the cache description. You might want to add these as waypoints.

Create New Waypoint

Tap the + button in the upper right to create a new User Waypoint for the selected cache. See additional documentation for creating a new waypoint.
